Cavalier Couture was created from the passion of design, dogs, and creating something truly unique for the individual.

Here are Cavalier couture we want to give you fun and creative gear that is also professional and of exceptional quality.

 

Our head seamstress Catherine is qualified in Textiles and Design, from RMIT.

While she has been a passionate sewer since she was a young child, her studies are where her skills were truly refined to the high quality you see today.

 

Her first independent creation at a sewing machine was of course for her first dog, Sweep.

A placid Maltese Shih Tzu, who put up with endless outfits being made for him.

During high school her focus began to hone in on creating unique dog wears, and the beginning of an idea that has since blossomed into the brand you see today.

 

 After graduating from RMIT Catherine found herself working for high end fashion houses, such as Chanel, Ralph Lauren and Prada.

There was still a longing to work with animals, and have the freedom of creation that she is so passionate about.

After becoming ill in 2014, she saw the silver lining that she now had the time to create for her main muse, Isabella! A Cavalier King Charles spaniel, who is also Catherine's Assistance Dog.

This grew as she saw a need for high quality gear to be available for Assistance Dog teams that is hand made here in Australia.

 We create for teams all over the world as well. And thus, Cavalier Couture was born.

 

We now encompass a small team of disabled Assistance Dog handlers, and together, we’re excited to help you bring your dream gear to life!
